At the WMP Summit Rob Knight, UCSD, and Emma Rocke, Univ. Capetown, spoke about the interconnected Earth’s Landscape. Ecosystem don’t care about national boundaries. The Ocean is covering 70% of the plantet and marine microbiomes ought to be given more focus. Emma also mentioned the OneOcean Science Congress and the UN Ocean Conference, a whole week of Ocean science for a week in Nice, France.
