Workshop on Marine eDNA

June 3 - June 5

The biennial National Workshop on Marine Environmental DNA (eDNA) serves as a mechanism to bring together researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to discuss eDNA technologies, newly released national strategies, and implementation priorities. In June of 2024, we will convene to discuss four major subthemes:

  • Strategic national priorities
  • eDNA technology readiness to support decision-making
  • Emerging technologies within the strategic framework
  • Implementation and adoption: from research to resource management

This event will serve as a mechanism to bring together researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to discuss eDNA as a strategic national priority, eDNA tool readiness and approaches to support decision-making, emerging technologies within the strategic framework, and implementation and adoption.
